Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat situaci ohledně novodobého fenoménu zvaný mukbang na největším internetovém serveru pro sdílení videí YouTube. Samotná práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a analytickou. V úvodní teoretické části bakalářská práce pojednává o sociálních sítích, o jejich kategorizaci i jejich vlastnostech a zkoumá, proč měly tak zásadní dopad na celosvětové rozšíření původně jihokorejského nápadu. Autor se též zabývá jídlem a důsledky, které vznikají jeho nadměrnou konzumací, neboť je nedílnou součástí tohoto trendu. V poslední kapitole teoretické části je pozornost věnována definici mukbangu, jeho vývoji a jeho vnímání v Čínské lidové republice. Značná část informací, ze kterých autor čerpal, pochází z internetových zdrojů, neboť knížky nestíhají reflektovat dění vzhledem k aktuálnosti tématu. Analytická část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na analýzu samotných videí od čínských a korejských tvůrců na serveru YouTube, jejichž seznam je zpracován do excelové tabulky na základě předem určených kritérií, které si autor pro svůj výzkum určil. Mezi tato kritéria patří například věk a pohlaví tvůrce, jeho chování, druh konzumovaného jídla a způsob stravování, prostředí, ve kterém tvůrce jídlo konzumuje apod. Z celkového vzorku čtyřiceti videí jsou získaná data autorem nejdříve sbírána, a poté doplněna do tabulek, pomocí nichž je vytvořen obraz korejské i čínské mukbang scény. Na základě těchto dat budou také potvrzeny či vyvráceny hypotézy, které si autor ve své výzkumné části předem stanovil.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the situation regarding the modern phenomenon called mukbang on the largest video sharing website YouTube. The thesis itself is divided into two parts - theoretical and analytical. In the initial theoretical part, the bachelor thesis discusses social networking sites, their categorization and their characteristics, and examines why they have had such a profound impact on the global spread of the originally South Korean idea. The author also discusses food and the consequences that arise from over-consumption of it, as it is an integral part of this trend. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, attention is paid to the definition of mukbang, its development and its perception in the People's Republic of China. Much of the information from which the author has drawn is from internet sources, as books do not reflect what is happening due to the topicality of the subject. The analytical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the actual videos from Chinese and Korean creators on YouTube, a list of which is compiled into an excel spreadsheet based on the pre-determined criteria the author has set for his research. These criteria include, for example, the age and gender of the creator, their behaviour, the type of food consumed and the way they eat, the environment in which the creator consumes the food, etc. From a total sample of forty videos, the data obtained is first collected by the author and then added to the tables to create a picture of the Korean and Chinese mukbang scene. Based on this data, the hypotheses that the author has set in advance in his research part will also be confirmed or refuted.
