(180 797 znaků) : mapy, grafy, tab. + žádné. -- Ved. práce Martin Novák. -- Oponent Petr Šída. -- Abstrakt: Tato práce přináší ucelený pohled na paleolitické a mezolitické osídlení na území dolního Poohří. Ačkoliv jde o území bohaté na archeologické nálezy, nebyla o zdejším nejstarším osídlení zatím vytvořena žádná práce. Proto je jedním z výstupů i práce katalog známých lokalit. Vedle toho je ale hlavním záměrem práce popis vztahů jednotlivých lokalit ke krajině v jednotlivých obdobích a hledání rozdílů mezi nimi. Na základě této analýzy je v závěru prezentován model ideální krajiny osídlení pro jednotlivá období, který je následně aplikován na do teď neurčené lokality v regionu. Úvod práce pak přináší souhrn poznatků o přírodním prostředí a surovinových zdrojích dolního Poohří, stručné dějiny bádání o jednotlivých obdobích paleolitu a mezolitu a bližší pohled na tehdejší prostředí a vztah člověka k němu.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis presents a comprehensive insight to the settlement pattern in the lower Ohře region during the Palaeolithic a Mesolithc. Although the area is rich in the prehistoric finds, there is no published paper about this topic. Acatologue of known sites is therefore one of the results of this thesis. Yet the main goal was to describe connections between the sites and theirs surrounding area of landscape and to find some differences between studied periods. The final result of this analysis is a theoretical model of an ideal landscape for each of the periods of the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic. It is then applied to the yet unsufficiently discribed sites in the region. Opening chapters of the thesis are dedicated to the description of the lower Ohře region itself and the sources of the raw materials for the chipped industry present. There are also short chapters of the history of the research and a closer look at the environmental conditions during the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic and their impact on the human population.
