Práce se zabývá otázkou redukce těla na nástroj mysli v kontextu rekreologie a zaměřuje se na cestování, turistiku a poutnictví. Zájmem zkoumání je lidské tělo a jeho pojímání v otázkách, jestli člověk je tělem či jestli tělo vlastní. Je probrána instrumentalizace těla fenomenologickým zkoumáním s přesahem do psychologie a neurologie. Poznatky teoretické analýzy jsou využity v praktické části, která popisuje reflexe účastníků cestování. Z teoretické a praktické části vychází závěry, které nalézají a vysvětlují různá pojetí těla v aktivitách výkonnostní turistiky, dobrodružné turistiky a putování.Presented thesis addresses the issue of reduction of the body to the Instrument of mind in the context of Recreology and focuses on travel, tourism, and pilgrimage. The interest of exploring is focused on the human body and we argue whether one is the body or if one owns the body. We discuss the instrumentalization of the body using phenomenological researching overlapping into psychology and neurology. Findings from theoretical analysis are used in practical part, which describes travelers 'reflection. The conclusion is derived from both theoretical and practical part and explain the different conception of the body in activities of high performance hiking, adventure tourism and pilgrimage.
