Diplomová práce se zabývá úpravou literární předlohy pro děti se sluchovým postižením. Nejdříve jsme se zabývali problematikou sluchového postižení a četbou, v rámci těchto témat jsme se dotkli oblastí čtení knih neslyšících, čtenářské gramotnosti a porozumění textu. Poslední kapitola je věnována metodice úpravy textu. Poznatky z teoretické části, zvláště týkající se postupu úpravy textu, byly využity pro vypracování praktické části diplomové práce, která je zaměřena na konkrétní úpravu knihy Justýnka a asistenční jednorožec od Kateřiny Pantovič. Výsledkem této práce je zjednodušena kniha pro děti se sluchovým postižením, ale také pro ty, které mají sníženou jazykovou kompetenci.The thesis deals with the adaptation of a chosen piece of literature for children with hearing disabilities. Firstly, we looked at the issues of hearing disabilities and reading, and within these topics we touched on the areas of reading books for the deaf, literacy and reading comprehension. The last chapter is devoted to text editing methodology. The knowledge from the theoretical part, especially concerning the text editing process, was used to develop the practical part of the thesis, which focuses on the specific editing of the book Justynka and the assistant unicorn by Katerina Pantovic. The result of this work is a simplified book for children with hearing impairment, but also for those who have reduced language competence.
