Bakalářská práce popisuje využití eye-tracking technologie pro hodnocení školních atlasů světa, využívaných při výuce zeměpisu. Školní atlasy si i přes rychlý rozvoj techniky zachovávají stále svoji pozici ve školních lavicích. Pro žáky či studenty jsou papírové atlasy stále atraktivní a pro výuku zeměpisu jsou nedocenitelnou pomůckou, zároveň tvoří jednu z nejdůležitějších složek výuky zeměpisu. V posledních letech ubývá školních atlasů a na trhu s atlasy se drží dvě vydavatelství: Kartografie Praha a Terra. V teoretické části byla řešena problematika školních atlasů, druhů map a kartografických vyjadřovacích prostředků. V praktické částí bakalářské práce se autorka zaměřila na kartografickou analýzu školních atlasů světa a na vytvoření a následné zhodnocení dotazníkového šetření a eye-tracking experimentů, které byly zaměřeny na komplexní práci s atlasy, respondenti nad atlasy řešili různě obtížné úkoly. Výsledkem práce bylo zhodnocení rozdílů mezi školními atlasy a také vyhodnocení výsledků experimentů. Z výsledků eye-tracking experimentů byly vyhodnoceny relevantní závěry.This bachelor thesis describes the use of eye-tracking technology in evaluating school atlases used in teaching geography. Even though technology is developing fast, school atlases still hold their position as a primary tool used in classes. They are still attractive for students and invaluable tool for teachers, while being one of the most important parts in teaching geography. There has been a decrease in the number of available atlases in recent years, but two publishers still remain: Kartografie Praha and Terra. In the theoretical part of this thesis the problematics of school atlases in general is addressed along with the problematics map categories and cartographic means of expression. The author focuses on cartographic analysis of school atlases of the World, creating and subsequently analysing a questionnaire and eye-tracking experiments focused on comprehensive work with the atlases. Respondents of the eye-tracking experiment were subjected to a series of test varying in difficulty. The outcome of this thesis is a comparison of the school atlases and evaluation of the result of the experiments, from which relevant conclusions were drawn.
