Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem ochrany přírody v Ugandě. Cílem je zjistit, zda současná politika ochrany přírodních zdrojů je v závislosti na vysokém populačním růstu a rizikách ovlivňující přírodní prostředí dostačující pro zachování ugandské biodiverzity. Práce přibližuje současné hrozby pro přírodu, se kterými se musí vláda, ochranářské instituce i komunity vypořádat. V závěrečné kapitole jsou nastíněny možnosti přístupů k ochraně přírody s pomocí zapojení místních komunit.The bachelor's thesis is focused on development of nature conservation in Uganda. The goal is to find out whether the current policy of conservation of natural resources is sufficient while the high population growth and the threats to local biodiversity put the nature in jeopardy. The thesis describes current threats to nature and how the government, conservation institutions and local communities deal with them. In the final chapter there is analyzed involvement of local communities in the conservation of nature.
