Bakalářská práce se věnuje rodinám pečujícím o dítě s postižením. Často se zájem odborníků a veřejnosti zaměřuje hlavně na matky, ale o otcích dětí s postižením bylo zatím provedeno velmi málo výzkumů. Hlavním cílem práce bylo popsat pomocí výzkumných otázek postavení otců v rodinách dítěte s mentálním postižením. Teoretická část zkoumá rodinu dítěte s mentálním postižením, dítě s mentálním postižením v rodině a také otce v rodině dítěte s postižením. Praktická část studuje pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu, konkrétně polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, pět otců v rodinách dítěte s mentálním postižením.This bachelor's thesis is focused on families caring for a child with handicap. The interest of professionals and the public is often focused especially on mothers, but about fathers of children with disabilities have been done very few researches yet. The main aim of this bachelor's thesis was using research questions to describe the position of fathers in families of a child with mental disability. The theoretical part investigated a family of a child with mental disability, a child with mental disability in a family and also a father in the family with a child with disability. The practical part studied by a qualitative research, specifically semi-structured interviews five fathers in families with a child with a mental disability.
