Diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním křesťansko-demokratických stran CDU/CSU a KDU-ČSL ze dvou úhlů pohledu. První teoretická část zkoumá strany skrze koncept stranických rodin a věnuje se rovněž roli a vlivu stranického předsedy. Obě křesťansko-demokratické formace jsou porovnávány na základě tří kritérií - historického původu a vývoje strany, jejího ideologicko-programového profilu a role v nadnárodním společenství Evropského parlamentu. Druhá praktická část je věnována analýze a srovnání vybraných volebních kampaní pro volby do dolní komory národních parlamentů podle zvolených kritérií. Těmi jsou struktura elektorátu a cílová skupina kampaní, organizace a způsob vedení kampaní s důrazem na roli předsedy a vliv jeho osobnosti, dále témata kampaní a konečně způsoby oslovení voličů a využití nástrojů informačních technologií při komunikaci s voliči.The master thesis deals with the comparison of Christian-democratic parties CDU/CSU and KDU-ČSL from two points of view. The first theoretical part examines the parties through the party family concept and it pursues also the role and influence of the party leaders. Both Christian-democratic formations are compared on the basis of three criterions. These are genetic origin of the party and its development, its ideological-programmatic profile and its role in the European Parliament. The second practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of selected election campaigns for the lower houses of the national parliaments according to the chosen criterions. These are the structure of the electorate and the prime groups of campaigning, organization and the way of campaigning with accent on the role of the leader and influence of his or her personality, and finally the means of addressing the voters. Examined is also the utilization of information technology instruments in the communication with voters during the campaign.
