Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelený pohled na diagnostické a terapeutické možnosti u osob s periferní nervovou lézí. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie a fyziologie periferního nervu společně s jeho biomechanickými vlastnostmi. Dále jsou vysvětleny patofyziologické procesy v nervu a svalu po poškození nervové tkáně společně s možnostmi nervové regenerace. Následuje popis aktuálních variant diagnostiky periferních lézí z lékařského a fyzioterapeutického hlediska. Teoretickou část zakončuje popis aktuálních možností terapie periferních paréz. Součástí je rovněž kazuistika pacienta s axonotmézou nervus axillaris.This thesis aims to provide a comprehensive view of diagnostic and treatment options for patients with peripheral nerve lesions. The theoretical part describes the anatomy, physiology and biomechanical properties of the peripheralnerve.Furthermore, the pathophysiological processes in the nerve and muscle after nerve tissue damage and options for nerve regeneration are explained. This is followed by a description of the current methods for peripheral lesion diagnostics from the perspective of medicine and physiotherapy. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the current treatment options for peripheral nerve injuries. The thesis also includes a case report of a patient diagnosed with axonotmesis of nervus axillaris.
