Diplomová práce se zabývá jugoslávskými uprchlíky, kteří přišli do České republiky během války v Bosně a Hercegovině a zůstali zde žít natrvalo. Práce je zaměřena zejména na identifikaci faktorů, které ovlivňují proces akulturace, ale zabývá se i samotným odchodem uprchlíků z Bosny a Hercegoviny a okolnostmi jejich příchodu do České republiky. V konceptuální části jsou vymezeny pojmy související s akulturací, identitou, migrací a to v návaznosti na studovaný obor sociální práce. Dále se konceptuální část zabývá válkou v bývalé Jugoslávii (konkrétně v Bosně a Hercegovině). Tato část se věnuje etnickému konfliktu, předválečné situaci, průběhu válečného konfliktu a následky konfliktu. Poslední kapitola je zaměřená na uprchlíky z bývalé Jugoslávie, reakcí České republiky na válečný konflikt a život uprchlíků z bývalé Jugoslávie (Bosny a Hercegoviny) v České republice. V empirické části jsou zkoumány faktory ovlivňující akulturaci a to na základě kvalitativního výzkumu s využitím metody polostrukturovaného interview.The diploma thesis follows up the refugees from Yugoslavia who came to the Czech Republic during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and stayed here to live permanently. The work is mainly focused on the identification of factors that affect the process of acculturation, but also it looks into the actual leaving of the refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as into the circumstances of their arrival to the Czech Republic. The conceptual part defines the concepts related to acculturation, identity and migration in relation to the studied field of social work. Furthermore, it deals with the war in former Yugoslavia (specifically in Bosnia and Herzegovina). This part also offers an insight into the ethnic conflict, the pre-war situation, the course of the war and the consequences of the conflict. In the last chapter, the thesis focuses on the refugees from former Yugoslavia, the response of the Czech Republic to the war and the lives of the refugees from former Yugoslavia. In the empirical part, the factors that affect the process of acculturation are studied. It is done on the basis of the qualitative research with the use of the semi-structured interview method.
