Teoretická část práce vychází z literatury vztahující se k tématu. Výzkumnými metodami pro dosažení cíle jsou analýza dokumentů a jednopřípadová studie. Zdrojem dat pro deskripci jsou interní materiály organizace XY a rozhovory. Data získaná těmito metodami jsem použila k popisu adaptačního procesu. Závěrem jsem došla ke zjištění, že nový pracovník má dostatek školení a také velikou podporu mentora, není zde již ale kladen důraz na to, aby si absolvované kurzy mohl ihned po školeních procvičit v praxi.. -- Abstrakt: The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to describe the adaptation process using mentoring in the XY organization. The theoretical part of the Thesis is based on literature related to the topic. The research methods for achieving the goal are the document analysis and the single-case study. The source of data for the description is XY's internal materials and interviews. I used the data obtained by these methods to describe the adaptation process. In conclusion, I found out that a new worker has enough training and great support of the mentor, but there is no emphasis on practicing the graduate courses immediately after the training.
