Cílem disertační práce bude analyzovat a zhodnotit environmentální důsledky těžby, zejména antropogenní ovlivnění reliéfu s ohledem na využité metody artisanální těžby nerostných surovin. Autor zhodnotí pozici regionu východoafrických velkých jezer v celosvětové těžbě surovin, specifika těžby v rámci afrického kontinentu a zaměří se na problematiku artisanal a small-scale mining. Na vybrané lokalitě provede detailní analýzy a hodnocení se zaměřením na ovlivnění reliéfu zvolenou metodou těžby.The aim of the thesis is analyze and evaluate the environmental consequences of mining mainly anthropogenic influence relief with regard to the methods used by the mining and quarrying. Author evaluate the position of the region of East Africa in the global mining resources, mining specifics within the African continent and focus on the issue of artisanal and small-scale mining. The evaluation focusing on the influence of the mining will be used in chosen location.
