Tato práce se zabývá problematikou politické mentality a volebního chování studentů vysokých škol. Jejím cílem je analyzovat společensko-politické prostředí, ve kterém se zkoumaná skupina nachází, a vysvětlit její předpokládaný příklon k pravicovým stranám a hodnotám. Chování českých vysokoškolských studentů by mělo kontrastovat s jejími protějšky z ostatních západních demokracií. Teorie se zabývá specifiky českého společensko-politického prostředí, zatímco v praxi dojde k analýze jednotlivých hodnotových preferencí této demografie, dle kterých je možné utvořit explanační teorie o původu a projevech jejího volebního chování.This thesis describes the political mindset and election behaviour of Czech university students. Its goal is to analyze the sociopolitical environment of the demographic and to explain its supposed leanings to right-wing political parties and ideologies. The behaviour of Czech university students is said to be unlike the one of their western counterparts. Theoretical part deals with the specifics of local sociopolitical environment and the practical part aims to analyze the preferred values of the group that would lead to the creation of explanatory theories about the origins and manifestations of their political behaviour.
