Bakalářská práce shrnuje dosud publikované poznatky o problematice duchovních potřeb umírajících pacientů. Obsahuje informace z odborných strukturovaných plnotextů, které byly rozděleny do tří cílů - podkapitol práce. Věnují se těžko definovatelnému pojmu 'spiritualita', hodnocení a identifikaci duchovních potřeb a příkladům jejich možného dělení k poskytnutí lepší spirituální péče. Poslední oblastí, kterou se bakalářská práce zabývá, je role sester, jejichž činnost v oblasti paliativní péče představuje nezastupitelnou složku, která by měla vést k naplnění spirituálních potřeb umírajících pacientů.This thesis sums up published knowledge about the issue of spiritual needs of dying patients. It contains information from structured professional full-text which was divided according to the three aims into - subchapters of the thesis. Individual chapters deal with the difficult to define concept of 'spirituality', evaluation and identification of spiritual needs and examples of their potential division for providing better spiritual care. The last area that the thesis is engaged in is the role of nurses whose activities in paliative care is an essential component that should lead to the fulfillment of spiritual needs of dying patients.
