V Teoretické části je popsána problematika tiskových sestav v prostředí internetu a kartografické standardy určené pro publikování geografických dat na internetu. Je zde jak technologická část potřebná k vytvoření samostatného modulu, tak i problematika daného tématu. Hlavním cílem je naprogramování samotného modulu, který je založený na rozhraní tenkých klientů. Modul je přednostně zrealizován na nekomerčních technologiích. Modul využívá kartografických standardů pro publikování dat na internetu (Style Layer Descriptor, Symbology Encoding). Výsledná tisková sestava je sestavena na základě kartografických pravidel a exportována do klientova počítačeThe main aim of this bachelor thesis was to create a print module for printing user-selectable print reports that are working for environment of MapServer. This application is based on the use of thin clients and non-commercially licensed software. The application is designed for an easy user access only through a web browser. The text section describes the print modules used for printing maps via the internet focusing only on those with the most advanced features. The second part of the text section is focused on geographic standards for publishing data on the internet defined by the Open Geospatial Consortium. Only the standards essential for functionality of module were selected (Style layer Descriptor, Symbology Encoding and Thematic Symbology Encoding).
