Cílem předložené dizertační práce je komplexní popis vybrané optické topografické metody 3D skenovací profilometrie, její matematický aparát, princip metody, výpočet nejistot měření a modifikace metody pro různé typy aplikací. Metoda 3D skenovací profilometrie je aplikovaná na konkrétní problematiku měření opotřebení umělých kyčelních implantátů.The thesis describes principles of contact methods and a range of optical topographical methods. The 3D scanning profilometry was introduced in detail and it was applied to specific measurements. The work discusses several approaches of the method evaluation. The thesis describes the measurement of volumetric loss of hip implants using 3D scanning profilometry. It reports some methods of measuring volumetric mass loss of joint implant utilized in clinical practice.
