ON THE BRIDGE: Search for Identity and Crossing the Bridge Between Two Cultures in the Books by Lee Maracle [rukopis] / Andrea Marysková. -- 2009. -- 74 + 1 CD. -- Abstrakt: Tato práce se zabývá tématem formování identity zkoumané v rámci čtyř knih kanadské Native spisovatelky Lee Maracle. Jedná se o tři romány: Sundogs (1992), Ravensong (1993), and Daughters Are Forever (2002), a jednu autobiografii s názvem Bobbi Lee, Indian Rebel (1975). Všechny hlavní postavy jsou Native dívky či ženy, vyrůstající v soušasné Kanadě a žijící následky kolonializmu, procesu, který ještě neskončil.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis addresses the theme of identity formation as explored in four books by the Native Canadian writer Lee Maracle. Namely, they are three novels: Sundogs (1992), Ravensong (1993), and Daughters Are Forever (2002), and one autobiography called Bobbi Lee, Indian Rebel (1975). All of the protagonists are Native women growing up in contemporary Canada and living the consequences of colonialism, a process that has not finished yet.
