V mé diplomové práci se zaobírám hudebním vývojem skupiny Synkopy 61, která postupem času procházela několika hudebními milníky. Hudební skupinu rozebírám postupně od jejího vzniku v 60. letech 20. století až po současnost. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí, kdy první obsahuje historiografická fakta ohledně vzniku kapely, prvotních úspěších, které přivedly skupinu k vrcholné kariéře až po hlavní členy. Zde vyzdvihuji především období 70. let 20. století a člena Oldřicha Veselého, který se nejvíce zasloužil o inovativní přístup k tvorbě, který vedl k největšímu rozkvětu skupiny. S každou dekádou a rozvojem nových hudebních žánrů a směrů nahlížím v další části diplomové práce na Synkopy 61 ze stránky hudební a textové. Analyzuji typické big beatové, art rockové a progresivně rockové prvky vyskytující se v tvorbě Synkop, a následně je porovnávám jak ve vybraných albech samotné skupiny, tak z hlediska ovlivnění západní hudební scénou. Závěr diplomové práce zaznamenává hudební činnost skupiny od 90. let do současnosti a její vliv na českou hudební scénu.In my diploma thesis, I deal with the musical development of the group Synkopy 61, which over time wnt through several musical milestones. I analyze the musical group step by step from its creation in the 1960s to the present day. The diploma thesis is divided into three main parts, the first of which contains historiographical facts about the formation of the band, the initial successes that brought the group to its peak career and the main members. Here I highlight the period of the 70s of the 20th century and the member Oldřich Veselý, who was the most deserving of an innovative approach to creation, which was next to the greatest flourishing of the group. With each decade and the development of new musical genres and directions, in the next part of my thesis I look at Synkopy 61 from the musical and textual sides. I analyze the typical big beat, art rock and progressive rock elements found in Synkop´s work and then compare them both in selected albums of the group itself and in terms of the influence of the western music scene. The conclusion of the diploma thesis records the musical activities of the group from the 90s to the present and its influence on the czech music scene.
