Diplomová práce se zabývá feeling different fenoménem u bilingvních bikulturních jedinců. Porovnáváme různé definice bilingvismu a bikulturality, zkoumáme vliv jazyka a kultury na lidskou psychiku a seznamujeme čtenáře s aktuálními výzkumy dané problematiky z oblasti současné psycholingvistiky. Kvalitativní výzkum hloubkově prozkoumává individuální zkušenost bilingvních bikulturních jedinců, charakteristiky fenoménu feeling different a jeho možné příčiny.The diploma thesis deals with the feeling different phenomenon in bilingual bicultural individuals. We compare different definitions of bilingualism and biculturalism, we examine the influence of language and culture on the human psyche and acquaint a reader with current studies of contemporary psycholinguistics. A qualitative research examines in depth the individual experience of bilingual biculturals, the main characteristics of the feeling different phenomenon and its possible causes.
