Na poskytování kvalitní, bezpečné a právně stanovené péče je dnes kladen značný důraz. Toho lze dosáhnout prostřednictvím péče, která bude poskytována členy ošetřovatelského týmu s příslušnými kompetencemi. U všech členů ošetřovatelského týmu dochází, jak k překračování právně definovaných kompetencí, tak i k nedoceňování jejich profesního postavení. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit znalosti členů ošetřovatelského týmu v oblasti kompetencí a posoudit jejich reálně vykonávané činnosti v souladu s právně definovanými kompetencemi. Dílčími cíli zjišťuje znalosti členů ošetřovatelského týmu v oblasti kompetencí, jejich dodržování při výkonu profese, a přítomnost souvislosti mezi znalostmi kompetencí a následným vykonáváním jednotlivých činností členy ošetřovatelského týmu na lůžkových odděleních nemocnice Nymburk. Dostupné teoretické poznatky se zaměřují na kompetence členů ošetřovatelského týmu a faktory, které kvalitu poskytované ošetřovatelské péče ovlivňují. Profil výzkumného souboru tvořilo 118 respondentů, vykonávající ošetřovatelskou profesi na jednotlivých lůžkových odděleních nemocnice Nymburk. Z výzkumného šetření vyplynulo, že z pohledu respondentů nebyly prokázány signifikantní rozdíly mezi teoretickými znalostmi o právně definovaných kompetencích členů ošetřovatelského týmu s reálnou situací při poskytování ošetřovatelské péče v praxi. Získané výsledky lze využít v oblasti prevence chyb při poskytování péče o pacienta kompetentními členy ošetřovatelského týmu v klinické praxi.Great emphasis is now placed on delivering quality, safe and legally regulated care. All members of the nursing team experience both the overstepping of legally defined competences and the underestimation of their professional status. The aim of this thesis is to find out the knowledge of the nursing team members in the area of competencies and to assess their real activities in accordance with the legally defined competences. Partial goals are to find out the knowledge of the nursing team members in the area of competences, their observance in the exercise of the profession, and the presence of a link between competence knowledge and subsequent performance of individual activities by members of the nursing team at the inpatient wards of Nymburk Hospital. The available theoretical knowledge focuses on the competence of the members of the nursing team and the factors that influence the quality of the nursing care provided. The profile of the research group consisted of 118 respondents performing the nursing profession at individual wards of the Nymburk Hospital. The research showed that from the point of view of the respondents there were no significant differences between the theoretical knowledge of legally defined competencies of the members of the nursing team with the real situation in providing nursing care in practice. The results obtained can be used in the area of error prevention in providing patient care by competent members of the nursing team in clinical practice.
