Práce se zaobírá vztahem vědy a poezie, vzájemným ovlivňováním těchto fenoménů a převážně nejvyhrocenějšími polohami v dané debatě. Cílem práce je shrnout vývoj této diskuze na příkladech zajímavých názorů básníků a básnířek. Zároveň je snahou dokázat, že věda a poezie jsou ve skutečnosti dva fenomény lidské kultury, které nejsou v rozkolu, mohou bez problémů koexistovat a vzájemně ze sebe čerpat.The thesis is focused on the relationship between science and poetry, mutual influence of these two phenomena and mostly on the most extreme stances in this debate. The goal of the thesis is to summarize the development of the discussion, and analyze examples of interesting ideas by different poets. At the same time, the aim is to prove that science and poetry are in fact two phenomena of human culture that are not incompatiblethat they can coexist without hindrance and draw inspiration from one another.
