První část popisuje historii vzniku a výzkum na opicích, druhá klinické aplikace a užití terapie u lidí. Třetí část se zabývá neuroplasticitou a jejím významem v rehabilitaci. Diskuze rozebírá podstatu protokolu constraint-induced movement therapy, její délku a užití v reálné klinické praxi.. -- Abstrakt: This work discusses the possibility of use of the constraint-induced movement therapy and its effectiveness in treating motor deficit generated on the basis of neurological disorders. The first part describes the history of the method and research on monkeys, the second clinical application and the use of therapy in humans. The third part deals with neuroplasticity and its role in rehabilitation. Discussion examines the nature of constraint-induced movement therapy protocol, its length and use in everyday clinical practice.
