V teoretické části jsou popsána specifika stáří a adolescence z různých pohledů, zvláštní zřetel je věnován oblasti psychologické a vztahové. Jsou zde představeny teorie nejrůznějších autorů. Dále je v teoretické části stručně charakterizována role rodiny v životě seniorů a adolescentů a její proměna v posledních desetiletích. V závěru teoretické části je nastíněn demografický stav a jeho prognóza. Praktická část je věnována výzkumnému šetření v oblasti vztahů mezi seniory a adolescenty v Libereckém kraji. Tato část je zaměřena na oblast zájmu o problematiku mezigeneračních vztahů u jednotlivých skupin, rozdílnost pohledů seniorů a adolescentů, vliv věku, pohlaví, vzdělání, četnosti kontaktu a jiných faktorů na vzájemné názory jedné sledované generace na druhou. Práce také mapuje problémy a obavy, které adolescenty i seniory v současnosti nejvíce trápí.. -- Abstrakt: This diploma thesis deals with relationships between seniors and adolescents. The theoretical part describes specifications of senility and adolescence from different perspectives; whereas, special attention is devoted to psychological domain and relationships between these two groups. There are mentioned theories and viewpoints of all sorts of authors. Furthermore, there is characterized a role of families of seniors and adolescents, and its transformation in the last decades. At the end of this section demographic state and its prognosis are outlined. The practical part is devoted to a research project targeted at relationships between seniors and adolescents in Liberec region. The main focus of interest is on following areas: intergenerational relationships, diversity of views of seniors and adolescents, differences in age, gender, education, frequency of mutual contact and other factors that influence opinions of one generation to the other. This section also makes a survey of fears and problems which worry each group of people the most nowadays.
