Tato přehledová bakalářská práce prezentuje poznatky o testech hodnotících kognitivní funkce a demenci publikované v českých a slovenských periodicích, případně ve sbornících z konferencí. Jejím obsahem je předložení informací z dohledaných odborných plnotextů, které jsou uspořádány podle cílů práce do jednotlivých podkapitol. Poskytuje informace o definici, příčinách a výskytu kognitivních poruch a demence v České republice, o hodnotících a měřících technikách, které se využívají k hodnocení mentálního stavu a funkčního postižení. Zabývá se zjištěním, jak jsou hodnotící a měřící techniky využívány v ošetřovatelské praxi.This thesis presents an overview of the findings based on tests evaluating cognitive functions and dementia published in Czech and Slovak journals or conference proceedings. Its content is the presentation of information from fulltext sources which are arranged into subchapters in accordance with the particular objectives of this work. It provides information on the definition, causes and incidence of cognitive impairment and dementia in the Czech Republic, and on the evaluation and measurement techniques that are used to assess mental status and functional disability. It deals with the findings on the way these evaluation and measurement techniques are used in nursing practice.
