Cílem práce je celkové zhodnocení pracovní motivace, pracovní spokojenosti a postojů k práci pracovníků v pohostinství ve Zlíně. Teoretická část je zaměřena na historii pohostinství, současné obecné, sociální, ekonomické a psychologické problémy těchto pracovníků. V této části jsou také shromážděny teorie a poznatky z oblastí pracovní motivace, pracovních postojů a pracovní spokojenosti. V praktické části jsou kvantitativně zpracována data získaná dotazníkovým šetřením 53 číšníků a servírek. Je zde popsán jejich motivační profil, spokojenost s prací a s pracovními podmínkami, a také jejich psychický stav. Pomocí Pearsonových korelací jsou zkoumány vztahy mezi jednotlivými proměnnými.The aim of this work is an overall evaluation of the work motivation, work satisfaction and work attitudes of the catering industry workers in Zlín. The theoretical part is focused on the history of catering, the contemporary social, economical and psychological problems of these workers. Theories and findings from the field of work motivation, work attitudes and work satisfaction are also accumulated in this part. Data obtained from 53 waiters and waitresses are quantitatively measured in the practical part. The motivational profile, satisfaction with work and the work conditions as well as the psychological state are described in this part. Relationships between individual variables are measured by the use of Pearson correlation.
