Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá historií a vývojem judaismu na Pyrenejském poloostrově. Pozornost je věnována především příčinám krize ve 13. až 15. stol., která vznikla na základě společného soužití židovské a křesťanské komunity. Tato krize měla za následek nucené křesty židů, jejich pronásledování, vyvražďování a vyústila v násilné vyhoštění židů z Pyrenejského poloostrova. Práce je rozdělena do 5 kapitol, jejichž úkolem je poskytnout nejdůležitější informace týkající se obecné charakteristiky judaismu, historie židovského národa na Pyrenejském poloostrově, vztahů mezi židy a křesťany, krize jejich soužití a tragického konce španělského judaismu ve středověku.This thesis is occupying by the history and development of judaism on the Pyrenean peninsula. The attention is dedicated to the reasons of the crisis between 13th and 15th century, which was caused by coexistence of the jewish and christian community. The crisis leaded to many compulsory baptisms, persecutions and slaughters of the jews. This incidents leaded in violent expulsion of the jews from the Pyrenean peninsula. The thesis is divided into 5 chapters, whose aim is to give the most important informations relating to the general characteristics of judaism, history of the jew nation of the Pyrenean peninsula, relationships between the jews and the christians, the crisis of their coexistence and the tragic end of the spanish judaism in the Middle Ages.
