Postavy románové pentalogie Vladimíra Neffa vykazují jistý komplex jedinečných způsobů, jakými jsou tvořeny. Cíl magisterské diplomové práce Postavy románů Vladimíra Neffa spočívá v jejich nalezení a přiblížení. Na vybraných postavách je sledován jejich ontologický původ a jevy s touto problematikou spojené, dále kontrastní výstavba postav, autorovo využívání detailů, barev a opakování při jejich charakterizaci, a v neposlední řadě také jeden z prostředků autorovy ironie, tj. jejich mnohovrstevnatost. V Královském vozataji jsou zkoumány jako jedny z možných příčin snížení umělecké kvality tohoto závěrečného dílu pentalogie.The characters of novel pentalogy by Vladimír Neff assign a certain complex of unique manners by whom are the characters formed. The purpose of the master degree work ?The Characters of The Novels by Vladimír Neff? is based on the foundation and approximation of these manners. The ontologic origin and the phenomena connected with this problems is followed on selected characters, the contrast structure of the characters, use of details, colours and repetition by the author when characterizing them, and also one of the means of the author?s irony, i.e. deep stratification of the characters are followed as well. In Královský Vozataj these are studied as one of the possible reasons of the lower art quality of this final volume.
