Cílem předložené diplomové práce je ukázat, jak dalece se bavorský spisovatel Bernhard Setzwein ve svých dílech dotýká Čech. Především svým románem ?Zelená panní?. Po roce 1990, kdy se autor konfrontoval s českými sousedy, se tyto poznatky stávájí stěžejním tématem v jeho próze, stojí za analýzu, jak se vyrovnává s tématy jako cizinec, sousedství a především hranice. Pohled přes hranice, přímo do srdce Evropy, očima pozorovatele, který krok za krokem poznával život (lidi) a přírodu na druhé straně hranice.The main aim of this thesis is to show how much is the Bavarian writer Bernhard Setzwein dealing with the subject of Bohemia in his literary work. It concerns mainly his romance ?Zelená panní? . After the year 1990 he confronted with the Czech neighbours and the subject of Bohemia is becoming more important in his pieces. It´s interesting to analyze how he copes with the topics as foreigner, neighbourhood and mainly frontier. The view over the frontier, just into the heart of the Europe, by the eyes of the observer who got to know the life of the people and the countryside on the other side of the frontier step by step.
