Cílem této bakalářské práce je vypracovat přehled možností aktivního sportovního vyžití ve městě, zjistit rozsah a formu podpory sportu ve městě a nastínit doporučení vedoucí ke zlepšení současného stavu. Úvodní část práce se věnuje vysvětlení základních pojmů, které souvisí s povahou práce a stručně je popsána charakteristika města. Hlavní část zahrnuje přehled zařízení pro pohybovou aktivitu a výčet sportovních klubů a organizací věnujících se sportu. V této fázi práci byla použita metoda studia dokumentů a vlastního pozorování. Část práce věnuje pozornost problematice podpory sportu ve městě. Informace pro řešení tohoto problému byly získány zejména ze strategických dokumentů města a z rozhovoru se zastupitelem města. Vztah obyvatel města Kroměříže ke sportu a jejich spokojenost s možnostmi aktivního sportovního vyžití a s úrovní propagace byl zjištěn pomocí terénního šetření. Jako vstup do diskuse byla provedena také SWOT analýza. V závěrečné diskusi jsou výsledky práce shrnuty a dány do souvislostí. Na základě výsledků práce jsou zmíněna možná doporučení.The objective of my bachelor thesis is to elaborate overwiew of possibilities concerned about sports activities practised in the town, find out the range and forms of sports activities support in the town and sketch out some recommendings leading to the improvement of existing status quo. The introductory part of my thesis tries to explain the basic terms which are related to the topic and is also dealt with briefly in the part describing the town disposition. The main part of my thesis comprises the ovewiew of sports facilities and the list of sports clubs and sports organisations. At this point the research of documents and my own observations were involved. The part of the thesis concentrates on the support of sports activities in the town. The information essential for solution of this problem were gained especially from the strategical documents and from the interwiew with local authority. The relation of the inhabitants towards the sport and their satisfaction with the possibilities of sports activities and standards of promotion were investigated through field survey. The discussion involved also the results of SWOT analysis. In the closing part of the discussion the results of my thesis were put in to broader context and finally some particular recommendings were mentioned.
