Práce se zabývá názvy rostlin obsažených v díle Herbář neboli bylinář autora Pietra Andrey Mattioliho ze 16. století. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vývoji odborné slovní zásoby v raně novohornoněmeckém období v souvislosti s vývojem takzvané odborné prózy a soustředí se především na vznik botanické terminologie. Další kapitoly se zaměřují na historii německých herbářů a na život a dílo italského lékaře a botanika P. A. Mattioliho. V praktické části je na základě korpusu provedena analýza názvů rostlin podle základového slova a podle pojmenovávacích motivů. Poté následuje její vyhodnocení a závěry.The MA thesis deals with herbal names that are to find in the work Herbal by the author Pietro Andrea Mattioli from the 16´th century. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the development of the special vocabulary in the new upper German period and concentrates mainly on the rise of botanical terminology. The following chapters write about the history of German herbals and about the life and work od the Italian physician and botanist Pietro Andrea Mattioli. The practical part consists of an analysis of the herbal names that is based on the corpus. In the end, there follow the corpus evaluation and conclusions.
