Předmětem bakalářské práce je komplexní geografická charakteristika Štýrska. Štýrsko (něm. Steiermark) je jednou ze spolkových zemí Rakouské republiky ležící v jihovýchodní části státu. Je významnou průmyslovou částí Rakouska, zároveň také oplývá velkým přírodním bohatstvím a potenciálem. Práce zpracovává poznatky z fyzickogeografické a socioekonomické sféry a snaží se podat nejen pohled na současný stav těchto složek, ale především u socioekonomické sféry jej dát do historického a širšího regionálního kontextu.Subject of the bachelor thesis is complex geographical characteristics of Styria. Styria is one of nine lands in Austria and is situated in the south-east part of the country. Land is important industrial part of Austria and has big natural wealth and potential. In the work, there are described physis and economical conditions and gives not only view at contemporary state of components but also historical view and wide regional context.
