Cílem této práce je srovnání výuky paliativní péče na studijních oborech Všeobecná sestra na Vysoké škole ve Fuldě ve Spolkové republice Německo a na Univerzitě Palackého v Olomouci v České Republice. V teoretické části je objasněn pojem paliativní péče a její moderní cíle. Ukazuje vývoj paliativní péče ve světě a také ve Spolkové republice Německo a v České Republice. Uvádí požadavky na VŠ vzdělávání všeobecných sester v evropském regionu, jejich plnění a integraci do kvalifikační přípravy VS v těchto zemích. Ukazuje, jaké jsou evropské směrnice pro výuku paliativ ní péče na vysokých školách. Pro splnění cílů práce bylo užito dvou metod. První, analýzy dokumentů, sylabů studijních oborů. Druhá metoda, dotazníkové šetření, je zaměřena na studenty obou VŠ a mapuje jejich názory na problematiku výuky paliativní péče.The aim of this work is to compare the preparation of nursing students for palliative care at Fulda University in Germany and at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. The theoretical section explains the term of palliative care and its modern objectives. It shows the development of palliative care in the world, including the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic. It presents the tertiary education requirements for general nurses in the European region, their fulfillment and integration into the system of professional education of general nurses. It outlines European university education standards for palliative care. Two methods were used to achieve the aims of the work. Firstly, the documents and syllabuses of relevant study programmes were analysed. Secondly, a questionnaire research was carried out to find out the students' attitudes to the issue of teaching palliative care.
