V bakalářské práci bylo provedeno zmapování pádů pacientů ve Vsetínské nemocnici, a.s., které se vyskytly v roce 2007. Na základě zmapování pádů bylo zjištěno, na kterých oddělení dochází k pádům nejvíce. Oddělení s nejčastějším výskytem pádů jsou, oddělení LDN a interní oddělení. Zde proběhlo výzkumné šetření, kde zjišťujeme a komparujeme znalosti sester o rizicích, prevenci pádu a spokojenost s používanou dokumentací v souvislosti s pádem pacientů, kterou standardně používají.The author of the bachelor paper analysed falls of patients occurred in 2007 in the Vsetín hospital. The analysis indicated the wards with most frequent occurrence of falls. The wards with the highest incidence of falls were the Long-term Care Ward and the Internal Medicine Ward. There an investigation was carried out to establish/compare the knowledge of nurses on the risks, falls prevention, and satisfaction with the standard documentation used in relation to patients´ falls.
