Bakalářská práce "Sociální čtení v procesu edukace osob s mentálním postižením" se v teoretické části zabývá vymezením terminologie mentální retardace a její klasifikací. Dále poukazuje na specifika osob s mentálním postižením. Velká část je věnována také edukaci osob s mentálním postižením od dětství až po dospělost a legislativním opatřením, která se vážou k tomuto tématu. Teoretická část bakalářské práce seznamuje také s metodou sociálního čtení, která se využívá při edukaci osob s mentálním postižením. Předmětem praktické části bakalářské práce je zmapovat problematiku metody sociálního čtení, a to prostřednictvím výzkumných metod rozhovoru a pozorování.The bachelor's thesis "The social reading in process of education of persons with mental disabilities" in the theoretical part deals with the definition of the terminology of mental retardation and its classifications.
