Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá aplikací Lijphartovy koncepce demokratických modelů na podmínky českého politického systému. V rámci stanovené hypotézy se pak autorka pokouší prezentovat argumenty ve prospěch aplikace modelu konkurenční demokracie v České republice. V práci je poukázáno na skutečnost, že současné uspořádání českého politického systému je pro potřeby české společnosti s ohledem na její náboženský, národnostní a sociopolitický charakter naprosto nevhodné. Důsledkem toho je neefektivní vládnutí, vyplývající z nestabilních a slabých koaličních vlád.This Bachelor's thesis deals with the application of Lijphart's conception of democratic models on the Czech political system. With regard to the hypothesis, the author tries to give arguments in favor of the application of the majoritarian model in the Czech Republic. The autor points out that the current form of constitutional order is not suitable for the Czech society because it does not reflect its religious, national and sociopolitical structure. The consequence of this is ineffective governing that is the result of unstable and weak coalition governments.
