Bakalářská práce se věnuje identifikaci nejvýznamnějších faktorů, ovlivňujících proces adaptace klientů na prostředí domova pro seniory. Cílem bakalářské práce je shromáždit a analyzovat zkušenosti pracovníků domova pro seniory s uplatňováním platné metodiky adaptačního procesu a zkušenosti klientů s adaptací na nové prostředí. Empirická část práce zahrnuje popis výzkumného problému, souborů výzkumného šetření a metodu zpracování dat. Byla zvolena kvantitativní metoda výzkumu a jako technika sběru dat dotazníkové šetření. Výsledky empirického výzkumu potvrdily, jako klíčové, faktory představené v teoretické části práce. Zároveň byly nalezeny oblasti, jež byly hodnoceny záporně. Pro tyto oblasti byly navrženy změny.The bachelor thesis focuses on the identification of the most important factors influencing the process of adaptation of clients to the environment of a retirement home. The bachelor thesis aims to collect and analyze the experiences of a retirement home staff in applying the current methodology of adaptation process and the experiences of clients in adapting to the new environment. The empirical part of the thesis includes a description of the research problem, research investigation sets and the method of data processing. A quantitative research method was chosen and a questionnaire survey as a data collection technique. The results of the empirical research confirmed as essential, the factors presented in the theoretical part of the thesis. Also, areas that were negatively evaluated were found. For these areas, some changes were suggested.
