Cílem této bakalářské práce je představit a popsat Brexit a jeho reflexi v britské společnosti a literatuře. Práce je rozdělena do šesti hlavních kapitol. První část se soustředí na samotný Brexit a na vývoj, který předcházel referendu. Následuje kapitola o obtížných vyjednáváních mezi Spojeným Královstvím a Evropskou unií. Poté jsou představeny problémy, které se po referendu objevily a s nimiž se Britové museli vyrovnat, například: hraniční kontroly, cla nebo nedostatek zahraničních pracovníků na sezónní práce. Čtvrtá kapitola analyzuje politické kampaně, které se odehrály před referendem. Práce rovněž porovnává politiku Winstona Churchilla a Borise Johnsona. V neposlední řadě je zmíněn vliv Brexitu v literatuře.The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to introduce and describe Brexit and how it reflects in British society and literature. This thesis is divided into six main chapters. The first part of this text focuses on the Brexit itself and the development before the Brexit referendum, followed by the difficult negotiations between the United Kingdom and the European Union. Several issues are introduced which arose after the Brexit referendum and Britons had to deal with them such as border controls, tariffs or lack of foreigner workers for the seasonal jobs. The fourth chapter analyse the influence of the political campaigns before the referendum. This thesis also contains the comparison between Churchill's and Johnson's politics and the reflection of Brexit in literature and its influence on the publishing industry.
