Cílem této práce je zkoumání zobrazené božstev japonské mytologie, přičemž důraz bude kladen zejména na šintoistická božstva. Práce je rozdělena na dva teoretické celky. V první části se zabývám definicí mýtu, japonskou mytologií a jejími zdroji. Dále se pak věnuji klasifikaci božstev japonské mytologie. Ve druhé části je nastíněn stručný vývoj japonského komiksu od začátku 20. století do konce 90. let. V praktické části zkoumám na vybraných vzorcích seriálů a komiksů, jakým způsobem jsou božstva japonské mytologie zobrazována a zdali sdílí společné rysy se svojí předlohou v mýtech.Annotation: The aim of this thesis is the research representing the deities of Japanese mythology whereas the emphasized will be the Shinto deities. The thesis is divided into two theory units. In the first part, I am dealing with the definition of myth, Japanese mythology and its sources. Then, I am concerned with the classification of deities of Japanese mythology. In the second part, the brief development of Japanese comics from the beginning of 20th Century to the end of 90s is outlined. In the practical part, I am doing research on the selected samples of anime and manga, what method are deities of Japanese mythology represented and if they share the same characteristics with their pattern in the myths.
