Diplomová práce se zabývá kultem M. Jana Husa v dodnes činné Církvi československé husitské. Časově sleduje období od vzniku církve v roce 1920 do společensky krizového roku 1939. Reflektován je přesah do období, kdy došlo k připojení přídomku "husitská", tedy 1971. Územně je zaměřena na české a moravské oblasti. Čtenáři je předloženo nejprve vnímání Jana Husa ve společnosti a historie Církve československé husitské. Náboženské společenství bylo mimo jiné založeno na Husově kultu, proto se autorka zaměřila na nazírání církve na jeho osobu. Hlavními zkoumanými tématy v následujících kapitolách jsou z tohoto důvodu projevy úcty k M. Janu Husovi v CČSH, a to například ve formě oslav. Pozornost je věnována rovněž Husově tradici v učení církve. Inspiroval církevní stavební činnost a následný interiér těchto budov. Proměny vnímání osobnosti Mistra Jana jsou sledovány ve společnosti na základě vytvořeného obrazu v tisku i oficiálních zprávách.The thesis deals with the cult of Jan Hus in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church which remains active to this day. It focuses on the period from 1920, when the church was established, until 1939, the year of critical social changes. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the year 1971 when "Hussite" was added to the name of the church. In terms of territory, the thesis covers Bohemian and Moravian regions. First, the thesis shows how Jan Hus was perceived in the society and summarizes the history of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. The religious community was based, among others, on the cult of Hus. The author therefore focuses on the perception of Hus by the church. The following chapters analyse primarily the way the Czechoslovak Hussite Church paid tributes to Jan Hus, for example in the form of celebrations. In addition, the thesis is concerned with Hus' tradition in the teachings of the church. He inspired religious construction works as well as the interior designs. The changes in perception of Jan Hus in the society are examined on the basis of the image formed in the press and official reports.
