Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou konceptuální metafory ve vybraných textech britské zpěvačky Dido. Práce identifikuje konceptuální metafory a následně popisuje jejich výklad. Dále práce analyzuje konceptuální metafory v neuměleckém textu a kvalitativně ho porovnává s uměleckým textem. Teoretická část obsahuje definici metafory, teorie konceptuální metafory a popis postupu práce při analýze textů. Praktická část následně určuje druhy konceptuálních metafor ve vybraných textech a popisuje je na základě využití stanoveného seznamu.The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the conceptual metaphor in selected texts of the British singer Dido. The work identifies conceptual metaphors and then describes their interpretation. Furthermore, the work analyzes conceptual metaphors in a non-artistic text and qualitatively compares it with an artistic text. The theoretical part contains the definition of metaphor, the theory of conceptual metaphor and a description of the work process in the analysis of texts. The practical part then determines the types of conceptual metaphors in selected texts and describes them based on the use of a set list.
