Měsíček lékařský (Calendulla officinalis L.) je významnou léčivou rostlinou s výraznými protizánětlivými účinky. Extrakt z úborů je součástí celé řady přípravků používaných v kožním lékařství. Látky zodpovědné za účinky patří do skupiny pentacyklických triterpenů, z nichž nejvýznamnější jsou monoestery faradiolu. V rámci teoretické části byla vypracována rešerše na téma Měsíček lékařský, významné obsahové látky v něm obsažené, jejich biosyntéza, význam a metody používané k jejich analýze. Praktická část je zaměřena na vývoj kvantifikačních metod. Ty byly využity ve srovnání vybraných genotypů měsíčku z kolekce Výzkumného ústavu rostlinné výroby, v.v.i.Calendula officinalis L. is an important medicinal plant with significant anti-inflammatory activity. Extracts of the flower heads are widely used in dermatology. The most important anti-inflammatory compounds are the esters of a pentacyclic triterpendiol - faradiol. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on important compounds of pot marigold as well as their biosynthesis and methods used for their analysis. In the practical part, methods for quantification of faradiol are introduced to assess selected genotypes of pot marigold from the collection of the Crop Research Institute.
