Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou kompetencí žáků gymnázií, tedy zejména jejich znalostí a postojů, v oblasti geografie sousedních států. Na příkladu České republiky a Slovenska jsou tyto kompetence zkoumány pomocí dotazníkového šetření na vybraných gymnáziích v obou uvedených státech. Součástí práce je také vysvětlení základních pojmů a zasazení problematiky do příslušného odvětví geografie. Výsledkem je zhodnocení proměny kompetencí žáků v závislosti na jejich věku, respektive ročníku studia, a na vzdálenosti gymnázií od státní hranice obou států.This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the grammar school students' competence, particularly their knowledge and attitudes in the field of neighboring states' geography. Taking the Czech Republic and Slovakia as an example, this competence is examined through a questionnaire survey at selected grammar schools in both states. The explanation of basic concepts and introduction of the issue within the particular field of geography is also the part of the thesis. The result of the thesis is an evaluation of changes in students' competence depending on their age, the year of study, or the distance of the grammar school from the national border between both states.
