Diplomová práce se zabývá bezdomovectvím rodin, jejím cílem je popis problematiky bezdomovectví rodičů s dětmi a zmapování možností pomoci ze strany společnosti, a výzkumným šetřením zjistit způsob pomoci ve vybraném zařízení Práce je strukturována do dvou částí, a to na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části je v jednotlivých kapitolách popsán fenomén sociálního vyloučení a chudoby, dále obecně popisuji problematiku bezdomovectví. Podrobněji se zde práce zaměřuje na popis problematiky rodin s dětmi, kterým hrozí ztráta střech nad hlavou, na rizika spjatá s osamoceným rodičovstvím, formy sociální pomoci a charakteristiku vybrané sociální služby. Empirická část představuje popis výzkumného šetření realizovaného ve vybrané sociální službě, s cílem zjistit z jakých příčin využívají rodiny s dětmi ohrožené ztrátou střechy nad hlavou služby azylového domu a prozkoumat, jakou pomoc jim azylový dům nabízí a jak tuto pomoc vnímají samotní uživatelé.The dissertation is focused on homelessness of families. The aim is to describe the issues of homelessness of parents with children, to map out the possibilities of help from the society, and use a research to investigate ways of assistance in the selected facility. The dissertation is broken down into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is divided into five chapters which are dedicated to describe the phenomenon of social exclusion and poverty. It includes also a general description of homelessness issues. It describes the issues of families with children who are at risk of losing their homes. It is explained more in detail what are the causes of such family crisis with focus on the risks associated with single parenting and the forms of social assistance by the selected social service. The empirical part describes the research executed in the selected social services to find out the reasons why families with children who are at risk of losing their homes use the shelter and to find out what support the sheltered housing offers them and how they perceive the help themselves.
