Sídelní geografie města Ostravy [rukopis] / Tomáš Merta. -- 2012. -- 61 s. : mapy, plány, grafy, tab. -- Ved. práce Pavel Ptáček. -- Oponent Marián Halás. -- Abstrakt: Předkládaná práce pojednává o urbanistickém a socioekonomickém vývoji města Ostravy. V práci je kladen důraz především na urbanistickou koncepci města v minulosti i současnosti. Kromě morfologické struktury Ostravy je zde také popsáno její současné funkční členění a to na zónu obytnou, výrobní, služeb a rekreace. Současná urbanistická struktura Ostravy je těsně spjata s historickým vývojem města, a proto také historický vývoj Ostravy nebyl v této práci opomenut. Je zde zachycen vývoj Ostravy v preindustriálním, industriálním, socialistickém a porevolučním období. Porevoluční období se v Ostravě vyznačuje procesem deindustrializace, který výrazně změnil socioekonomickou strukturu celého města, počínaje poklesem objemu průmyslové výroby a počtu zaměstnanců v sektoru průmyslu, růstem počtu osob zaměstnaných v sektoru služeb a taktéž se výrazně začíná měnit i urbanistická tvář Ostravy, ať už se jedná o nové využití starých průmyslových areálů neboli brownfieldů, výstavbu nových průmyslových zón, administrativních objektů, nákupních center, parků a jiných veřejných zařízení. Ostrava by se díky svému unikátnímu průmyslovému dědictví, měla v budoucnosti stát významnou turistickou destinací a především významným centrem vědy a kultury. Celou práci doplňují tabulky, grafy, plány a mapy.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis deals with the urban and socio-economic development of the city of Ostrava. In this thesis the emphasis is on urban concept of the city in the past and present. In addition to the morphological structure of Ostrava is also described its current functional structure on the residental, manufactural, service and recreational zone. The current urban structure of Ostrava is closely connected with the historical development of the city, and therefore the historical development of Ostrava hasn´t been neglected in this thesis. It records the development of Ostrava in the pre-industrial, industrial, socialist and post-revolution period. Post-revolutionary period in Ostrava is characterized by de-industrialization process, which significantly changed the socio-economic structure of the city, starting with the fall in industrial production and number of employees in industry, the growing number of people employed in the service sector and the urban face of Ostrava also begins to change significantly, whether a new usage of old industrial sites or brownfields, building-up of new industrial zones, office buildings, shopping centers, parks and other public facilities. Ostrava, thanks to its unique industrial heritage, should in future become an important tourist destination and especially an important center of science and culture. The thesis is complemented by tables, charts, plans and maps.
