The main aim is to identify these factors and point out how they have influenced the concept of Swedish neutrality. Thesis first theoretically defines the concept of neutrality in general, then focuses on the development of the concept of neutrality in Sweden. Based on these data, thesis then analyses which influences were fundamental and refers to the possible perception of the current concept of Swedish neutrali-ty.
