Tématem práce bude analýza českých historických filmů natočených po roce 2000 - Želary, Protektor, Lidice a Habermannův mlýn. Cílem práce bude postihnout, jakým způsobem navazují a v čem se odlišují současné historické filmy natočené po roce 2000 na historické filmy z předešlých období, jak interpretují klíčové události českých dějin a zda nabízejí nový pohled na českou historii. Práce bude metodologicky pojata jako žánrová analýza s důrazem na tematicko-motivickou rovinu. Teorie a vymezení žánru historického filmu bude přejato od Roberta Rosenstoneho.Theme of this thesis is: Analysis of Czech history movies shot after the year 2000 - Zelary, Protektor, Lidice and Habermannuv mlyn. The main goal of this thesis is to capture how do recent movies follow up onto older movies, shot in previous eras, and what are the differences between them. I'm also investigating how new movies interpret key events of Czech history and if they offer a new point of view on Czech history. The metodology of this paper is genre analysis with an emphasis to thematic-motivistic level. Theory and definition of history movie genre is adopted from Robert Resenstone.
