The aim is to describe the range of clubs engaged in the martial arts and analyze information on these clubs within the Olomouc. To determine if the club offers sufficient. The research method in this paper combines secondary literature. field research and my own experience. In the first part of the theses. all the clubs and teams specialized on martial arts were analyzed. as well as the way these communicate with their own members and applicants for membership. The goal and result of this first part was an overview and analysis of the specialized sport facilities. martial arts clubs in the city of Olomouc and the services they offer. In the second part of the theses. interest for martial arts was surveyed among the selected focus group. using a specialized questionary for the input of data. The focus group. consisting of member of the Czech Army. did not. however. display any knowledge about this sport sector. Our paper brings a complete analysis of clubs specialized on martial arts in the city of Olomouc. I may conclude this part of the paper with the statement that the offer and choice of these facilities in the city is variable and sufficient enough to satisfy everone's needs. Based on the field research I can also suggest that there is a demand for this sport sector among the general public in the city. although there is not enough PR information provided by the clubs in question.
