Diplomová práce Regionální volby v zemích Visegrádu z pohledu teorie voleb druhého řádu se zabývá aplikací teorie voleb druhého řádu na regionální volby ve čtyřech středoevropských zemích - České republice, Polsku, Maďarsku a Slovensku. Teorie voleb druhého řádu byla primárně vytvořena v souvislosti s prvními volbami do Evropského parlamentu v roce 1979, které vykazovaly oproti volbám národním určité specifické znaky. Volební účast byla nižší, vládní strany ztrácely, opoziční naopak posilovaly, objevil se vyšší počet neplatných hlasů atd. Použití této teorie ale není vyloučeno i na ostatní typy voleb v rámci politického systému. Výše uvedená kritéria jsou v této diplomové práci ověřována na vybraných regionálních volbách čtyř zkoumaných zemí. I přesto, že se např. v České republice předpoklady druhořadých voleb potvrdily, v ostatních zemích jsou regionální volební výsledky nevyrovnané a tudíž nepredikovatelné.The diploma thesis Regional Elections in Visegrad Countries from the Perspective of the Theory of Second-order Elections deals with the aplication of the theory of second order elections on the regional elections for four central european countries - Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. The theory of second order elections was primary created with the connection of the first European Parliament election in 1979, that assigned specific marks with the difference of results of the national elections. The turnout was lower, governmental parties lost, opposition parties gained, there were a higher number of invalid votes etc. It is also possible to applicate the theory for the other types of elections within a political system. The given criteria are verifying on the selected regional elections of the four surveyed countries in this diploma thesis. Even though the conditions of second second order elections were confirmed in the Czech republic, they are still unbalanced and unpredictable in other countries.
