Cílem této diplomové práce je zmapovat a charakterizovat videoklipovou tvorbu režiséra Michela Gondryho. Práce se zaměřuje na originální stylistické postupy (které zahrnují užití animace, digitální efekty, atd.) ve vybraných videoklipech. Druhou část práce tvoří srovnání tvorby Michela Gondryho s hlavními autorskými režiséry hudebních videoklipů od 80. let 20. století do současnosti.In this thesis, Pavlína Chmelařová creates a theoretical apparatus with which she approaches the music videos by one of the most original directors Michel Gondry. Chmelařová chooses particular videos from Gondry´s work and applies the existing notion on it. She describes original stylistic techniques (which involve usage of animation, digital effects, etc.) in each of choosen video. Second part of this thesis involves comparison of Michel Gondry and the main author?s directors of music video from 1890?s untill today. The characteristics of work of Michel Gondry comes from detailed analysis and comparison with contemporary directors in the end.
