Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda jsou perioperační sestry ve Fakultní nemocnici Brno (FN Brno) dostatečně vědomostně připraveny na setkání s pacientem s MRSA v anamnéze. Zda školení na téma MRSA na operačním sále vedlo ke zvýšení jejich vědomostí a s jakým efektem. K získání informací o vědomostech perioperačních sester jsme použily dotazníkové šetření. Dotazník byl sestaven ze 3 okruhů položek. První okruh byl zaměřen na vědomosti respondentů o MRSA, druhý okruh MRSA na operačním sále a třetí okruh problematikou nozokomiálních nákaz. Také jsme se zabývaly zjištěním jaký je počet hospitalizovaných pacientů s MRSA ve FN Brno. Dále nás zajímalo jakou tendenci (vrůstající nebo klesající) má v posledních letech (2005 - 2009) výskyt MRSA na vybraných klinikách v rámci FN Brno. Toto byly otázky, které vedly k tvorbě této práce.The aim of the study was to learn whether suture nurses in Brno University Hospital (FN Brno) have sufficient knowledge to meet patients with MRSA in their anamneses. Whether the education on the topic MRSA in operating theatre increased their knowledge and with what effect. A questionnaire research was conducted to gain information concerning suture nurses´ knowledge. The questionnaire was compiled from 3 ranges of items. The first range was aimed at informants´ knowledge of MRSA, second range at MRSA in operating theatre and third range at problems with nosocomial infections. We were also investigating, what is the number of hospitalized patients with MRSA in Brno University Hospital. Further we were finding what tendency (increasing or decreasing) has the occurrence of MRSA in selected departments of Brno University Hospital in last years (2005 - 2009). These were questions, which lead to elaborating this thesis.
